TCF Global (Ireland)

Check out www.tcfireland.com/ which is a part of TCF Global network. TCF is a Textile Clothing Footwear Resource Centre in Western Australia Inc (TCFWA). TCF extends an invitation to you and your organization to partner with our community based project TCF Global.

This unique concept of a global fashion network TCF Global is to assist small and emerging fashion designers to source a network of fashion support organizations that can direct or assist with small run manufacturers, raw materials, fashion incubators, TCF / fashion designer associations, fashion weeks, trade exhibitions, festivals, fashion competitions and events that would assist a new designer and/or small volume independent fashion designers to link with suitable businesses or organisations around the globe.

TCFWA is also looking to connect with TCF Global Village Community Projects that may showcase selected village community projects in your country that could link with international fashion organisations or designer networks that may include local micro finance organisations, Business Enterprise Centre’s, small business centre networks, NGO’s, BPW and international service clubs with the goal to assist women to start a small sewing business in your country.

The mission

The mission is to define a structure of support that will facilitate the needs of a fashion designer and help creative entrepreneurs to develop the business skills they need to thrive and survive in the fashion industry. I will analysis the strengths and weaknesses of exiting similar facilities, to create a perspective of what the fundamental and unsuccessful aspects may be. From the analysis of other exiting similar facilities I hope to create a constructive template that would provide adequately for the designers needs.

The Project I am embarking on is to define a "Fashion Incubator". One notion of a fashion incubator is to be a facility that provides assistance in growing or starting your own fashion business and would provide the kind of specific assistants relevant to the needs of the industry.

The project I am embarking on is to define a "Fashion Incubatior". One notion of a fashion incubator center is to be a facility that provides assistance in growing or starting your own fashion business that would provide the kind of specific assistance relevant to the needs of the industry.
An Incubator would cater for the needs of fashion designer, weather this is for studio space, equipment provision, or space for PR/showcasing designers.

Facilities for Fashion designers

Is there enough support for emerging fashion designers in general but specifically in Ireland? Would a fashion incubator which would cater for all the needs of a fashion designer from studio space to equipment and mentoring make a difference to the Irish fashion community?. A fashion incubator is a facility that provides assistance in growing or starting your own fashion business through providing industry pacific assistance.
